Related to Bill? WR, CB, Sweeper, or midfielder? 2018 or 19? Link or some info please. ;)

4 star PF from Philly. Chose Nova over Syracuse and a few other high majors. Top 150 player per 247 (#132).

Dhamir's final list before committing was Seton Hall, Miami, Villanova, VCU, Xavier, Syracuse, Providence, & Temple, but like Jet pointed out, many feel it was really between Villanova and Syracuse. I can guarantee not many on this board are upset about Syracuse losing a recruit they wanted to Villanova. Score one for the Big East.

For the class of 2017, Villanova has really been hoping to land Dhamir Cosby-Roundtree, Chris Lykes, and Lonnie Walker. We are in the mix for several other players, but these 3 guys are the ones we have really been focusing on. 1 down, 2 to go.

Seems like Nova is more focused on Green and Duval for guards than Lykes. Only jumped into the Lykes conversation recently.

To be honest, Quade Green right now is a Syracuse lean but if Duke offers, he will most likely be a Blue Devil. Some people thought Green and Roundtree would be a package to Syracuse, but obviously that won't happen now. Right now I put Green ending up at Villanova at about 5%. Both Villanova and Green are really looking at other options right now.

Duval is more of a one and done, if he wants Villanova, Jay is obviously going to take him and would be very happy with landing him, but Jay is still really attracted to those types of players who are solid 4 star recruits who are going to really buy into the program, develop, and stick around for 3 or 4 years. Will he take a one and done? Yes, but is he looking to do it often and build his program around these types of players? Absolutely not.

The National Championship is obviously going to help with recruiting, but it will not derail Jay from the type of program he wants to run, and the type of players he wants to recruit. He has a system and he has a philosophy that he is sticking to.

Lykes has got to look at Gtown's style of play and question if it's the right fit. 5'6" who in ultra creative with the ball in his hands being asked to conform to a very structured offensive scheme. Maybe he waits to see if JT3 actually does change G'town's offense this year before he commits.

Then again on Nova's side of the ledger JW's philos is to switch on D. Can't imagine he'd fare too well trying to contain Sima or Delgado on D switch.

Kid is a tremendous talent. Nova insiders feel we are in pretty good shape with Lykes. Will be interesting to watch.
