Holy Shot!!! Villanova 2016 National Champs!!!

I do not recall ever cheering so hard for a team that wasn't my Bluejays...but I woke some folks up last night when the shot went in.

My favorite "post Jenkins shot that is now the most famous in NCAA history" moments:
1. Wright's reaction...how is that possible to be that cool after what had just happened?
2. Jenkins comments about taking the shot shortly after..."one, two, you know it's going up" and then whether he thought it would go in, "I think they are all going in."
3. Kenny Smith...his reactions after the tying three and then THE SHOT

Priceless stuff...Congrats to all Villanova fans. What a game, what a season.

The jay wright reaction was great. As soon as he saw Jenkins rise up to shoot, Jay whispered "bang". He knew it was good

Just remembered that block/buzzer beater before half. It obviously wasn't the game winner, but that is probably 1B in importance last night. Huge sequence to end the half.

it was huge. going to the half down 9 would have been tough.

Ochefu had a great line about mopping the floor just before the play. He knew where he had to throw his pick and didn't want to slip, and he didn't want Arch to slip either.

My wife had commented (live) that he was using the mop. I didn't see notice it, and my 10 year old asked me to rewind to check it out. I was like, what, no way am I missing the last 4 seconds live to see a guy drying off the floor.

Outside of X winning it all, this is about as good as it can get. I'm at a loss for words for how happy I am for Nova, and the Big East as a whole. It was a great, great win. Congratulations Villanova.

My father was a Nova grad. Took me to see them play Providence when I was 4. I remember vividly because their mascot freaked me out big time. Bled blue and white growing up. Was offered a full ride to go to St Joe's (PA) (lol) but I wanted to go to Nova instead. My dad said it was the easiest tuition checks he ever wrote.

Out last night with friends watching the game and after going completely ape sh!t when Jenkins hit that shot, I simply texted my dad and said : "Thank you for making me a Cats fan pop. I love you." It's moments like this that makes sports great.

Thanks for all of the love on HLOH. We're a brotherhood of schools and programs that do it the right way; with fans bases that stick by each other. Thank you.
