There were some great teams that didn't win the tourney too.

I always come back to 1989 Seton Hall. Their run through UNLV and Duke was close to 2016 Villanova in complete dominance and satisfaction. Then they were up 10 on Michigan and lost on a cheapo foul call.

The 82 and 85 Hoyas were outstanding, but the 84 team covers that era.

In just about any other year, 85 St John's could've won it all.

just looking though- the quality of teams they had that year- Indiana was #8, UNLV #15, and Duke #9.

Nova has done this vs #25 Iowa, #10 Miami, #1 Kansas, and #7 Oklahoma. And now #3 UNC.

there wouldn't have been many teams ever to have the run that Nova had here- 4 top 10 teams.

Congrats Nova! That game last night was truly remarkable. Safe to say this is the hardest I've ever rooted for a team not specifically affiliated to me. We are all the Big East! One more...
