I thought a big thing was the 3 pointer right before the half. Gave them a cushion so where when Oklahoma got a 5 point run in the 2nd half- it was still a 9 point lead. Also the quick timeout that Wright took there was huge. Wright did a great job tonight..... Going to be really interesting on Monday night with UNC.

15-17 year old kid at my grocery store picked Nova to win it all, told me so when I wore my X hat while checking out...I'm excited to see him after Nova's success, but I also hate it because he's like 16 and he can't possibly fathom my love for my Big East brethren. This is literally the best thing except a Xavier natty championship. I hope X follows Nova's path next year, 2nd round exit to the natty champ game. My friend is Whitey Rigsby's nephew, so I'm super invested. Bring it home, Nova! Bring it home for advanced metrics and shove it in the face of the national media prognosticators!

Well done, Villanova. Although my Musketeers shat the bed and failed to get to the second weekend, this National Championship run has been quite the pick-me-up.

Take care of business, Monday. This would be quite the statement for the Big East - although it shouldn't take a National Championship to accomplish that.
