from a numbers thing, there's 2 big things....
1- turnovers. Nova protects the ball, and Oklahoma forces fewer turnovers- than the other way.
Nova- 16.3% turnovers- #58, Oklahoma forces 17.7% turnovers #202.
Oklahoma- 18.0% turnovers- #176. Nova forces 20.5% turnovers- #45.
2- getting to the line... both teams are in the 245-262 range in getting to the line, while both teams are in the 28-53 range in allowing teams to get to the line. Especially huge of course for Nova given how good they are at shooting free throws.
It's funny, I think a tight whistle helps Nova tonight. They have 8 guys who play more than 40% of the minutes. Oklahoma has only 5- but then 2 guys at 30% and another at 21%.
