I respect any opinions on this and agree to disagree, as I think it's abnormal behavior. But again, respect differing opinions.

However, if this board is still around when some of you are season ticket holders at 75, let me know how you feel about it after a knee replacement or hip replacement. Until then, happy 40 minutes of standing.

I'm with Chelsea on this. I think most Big East fans agree too. Sit down and be considerate. On occasion stand for a great play or an important defensive possession, or in the last minute or whatever. At the Dunk, we sit. At Fenway we sit, except maybe in the 9th. At Bruins and Celtics games we sit, both at the old and new Boston Garden. PC hockey we sit. URI hoops we sit. New England Revolution we sit.

The only sporting event I've ever gone to where I had to stand the entire game was at a Patriots game years ago. It was at old Schaefer/Sullivan Stadium in the mid 90's. In December. I think we stood because the aluminum bleachers were ice cold. And we had to stand up on top of the bleachers. For three freakin hours. That was the last Patriot game I've been to, it was freakin miserable. Maybe standing is a football thing?
