Wow, Nova's now in striking distance of a national championship. If Nova is able to pull that off, 2 of the past 3 tourney champions would have been non-P5 (though UConn in 2013-14 still had "P5" players at the time, since all their production came from players recruited while the Big East was still in tact as a BCS conference, but still). I believe that's been stever's primary rally cry over the last several years on this board: we need non-P5 schools to step up, regardless of conference. Great if it's the Big East, but we need to show the networks that the non-P5 are a force to be reckoned with and that there's value here.

Great job, Nova. Great boost for the Wildcats' reputation, as well as the Big East's.

Congratulations on a fabulous team effort. I confess that I had you stopping at the Elite Eight, and your win last night shredded my bracket. Couldn't be happier (unless Xavier was also still Dancing). Great for Nova fans, and great for the fans of our wonderful league. Keep it going!

Thanks and congrats Nova. ESPN can't handle it, posted a tweet about how 8 Big East teams have made the Final 4 in the past 8 years and Nova is the only one still left in the league. Lol. Butler anyone? Guess that doesn't fit their narrative.

That tweet was absurd. Made it out like big east had 8, but 7 are now gone


Villanova has 2 and butler has 2 the past 8 years, and with georgetown in 2007 we have 5 the past ten years. Every other year is our average.
