Right, he didn't hire an agent.
So he can get a sense of where he would be drafted, and if it's not as high as he hoped, then he can return to PC. Returning to the Friars for 1 more year is the likely outcome.

Hope you're right, but if he hears 20-35 range it's going to be really, really tempting to give it a go. Dunn is the exception, not the rule today.

like the article said, if he measures out to where he is listed- 6'9"- he's going to be a first round lock. He should interview really well like they said in the article. His style is just what the NBA big guys are like right now.

I don't know that I would say either him going or staying is the likely outcome. It's 50/50 right now. All hinging on the size.

And the thing is- I don't know that his stock would get all that much greater. Like was said, Dunn is the exception not the rule.

You never know because of all the variables, but in watching Providence, it looked like Bentil might have more long term pro potential than Dunn. What do the Providence fans think?

Dunn still has a propensity for turnovers and poor shooting fg. Meanwhile Bentil game is solid. Good defense, shooting, etc. Dunn has higher upside though.

Based on what I've seen when Bentil is standing next to guys like Dunn and Bullock, I don't think he will measure in at 6'9". Wouldn't completely shock me if he is a shade below 6'8".

Yeah, I actually think he will have an easier time managing the turnovers in the NBA. He had cut down on them drastically early in the season, then once teams realized PC couldn't shoot, they packed the zone and doubled Dunn when he had the ball. His turnover numbers went back up when he had trouble with the double teams and figuring out how stay involved against a packed zone. UNC was probably the first team in months to only play man vs. PC, and Dunn suddenly looked like Dunn again.

Dunn also has perfect size for his position where Bentil, I think, will measure in a little small in height and wingspan.

Dunn definitely needs to continue to work on shooting.

yeah then he may come back. Only thing- how much higher will his draft stock realistically be? He's had such a good year- it's hard to see how much better he could be, especially giving that he's going to see far more defensive attention next year with Dunn gone. Also teams will go after him on offense, trying to get him in foul trouble- he did average 3.5 fouls per game this year in the PC losses.

Friars land former Indiana Hoosier Emmit Holt. He played JuCo ball after leaving IU.

Really good for PC, 6'8" with 7' 3" reach, big rebounder and shot blocker. He will be very important in helping Ben down low if he returns.
