Sorry but we are hosting ourselves by playing zero defense. I have never even in our worst years seen us continually allow guys drive to the hoop without any resistance. Why even be on the floor if that's all your going to do. Very disappointing. But with Mo blowing out his groin again we now have no point guard, it wasn't going to be anyway.

Oh well, time to heal up and get ready for next season, add Foster and Patton and hopefully next year will be much better.

Plenty of fight the last ten minutes, but just couldn't overcome injuries and about 10 minutes of really poor defense to start the second half. Zierden (shoulder) and Huff (knee)go under the knife on Friday. Malik couldn't go due to ankle sprain in Saturday's game. Mo has been hobbled since hurting his groin in the Providence game and just didn't have the explosiveness he needs to be consistently effective driving to the hoop (or guarding for that matter). Zach Hanson has played on a bad foot/ankle all year that needs some rest to heal up. Fellas need to get healthy and get stronger this summer. Add Patton and Foster to the mix along with Davion Mintz (just named first team all state for North Carolina) who, along with Malik Alberts should be able to take some of the pressure off Mo next year, and we will be right in the thick of the race. Also hoping staff puts together a OOC schedule that is much, much better than this past year so we don't have that anchor around our neck.

Good game last night Jays.
NIT quarters in a rebuilding year.
Looking forward to seeing Patton and others next year.

It's funny, used to be NIT QF was a meaningless thing quite frankly. Now with it being selected by merit, it actually means something...

waiting for official Creighton Review post, but this is a team that has everything pointing up for next season.

Watson gets a backcourt mate who I think has nba potential.
much awaited arrival of their prized recruit justin patton.
I liked what I saw out of harrell and thomas this year.
and Huff looks like he is finally starting to assert himself on offense.
