Michigan vs Tulsa

Postby DudeAnon » Wed Mar 16, 2016 9:39 pm

Tulsa definitely wants it more. They are playing some great defense despite being smaller at almost every position. Michigan is really a shell of themselves without Caris Levert.

If you don't make it past these play in games does it really count if nobody knows you were in the tournament? Tournament starts tomorrow for 99% of people. Normally I'd pull for Tulsa but they were undeserving of their bid. Then again Michigan wasn't either....

So UNC plays FGCU and USC plays PC in the 1st round.....

Will PC get a lot of new fans upset for Enfield leaving FGCU, or will USC get the FGCU fan base supporting Enfield?

Probably neither. All of the UNC fans, and there will be a lot of them, will leave the PNC Arena as soon as the UNC game is over.

Interesting article in the Raleigh N&O today about the importance of hosting NCAA tournament games in Raleigh and across North Carolina. It isn't just basketball either, the article covers some of the other NCAA championships were are hosted here.

Dear adoraz, respectively.... What ? !!!

The play in games are in prime time with no other games on TV, The games today and tomrorw start at 12 noon while everyone is working and there are 4 games going on at once. Under which scenerio do the teams get more exposure.

It's nice to be on TV. But the prestige of the first four vs the 64 is eons apart.

Disagree, Holy Cross/Sd Michican programs were elevated tremendoulsly by the games last night in prime time, i.e millions of viewere know know that they our in the tournament,
compare that against a Butler noon time game today that if they win or lose will get a one time 15 second blurb on SC this eve.
