Marquette declined an invitation to the CBI, CIT, and The Vegas 16.

Perused the CBI and CIT brackets and they are a total joke. Not one high major team. Vegas 16 bracket comes out tomorrow, it will be interesting to see if they can pull any power conference teams. Looks like Georgetown also declined or wasn't invited....

1 thing I think is funny, the A10 has 2 teams in the CBI/CIT. What a perception mistake for them. Will be interested to see if Memphis goes to Vegas.

Fordham, and Duquesne have been so bad that any postseason is a plus for them. If DePaul had finished at .500, I would have no problem with them going to the CBI. Marquette is a different story.

Confirmed that Vegas event looking more like 8-team deal. Northern Illinois, Boise State, UCSB, Oakland, Towson, ODU, ETSU, La. Tech in mix.

Ouch. Looks like power teams are saying NCAA/NIT or bust. The CBI and CIT fields this year are absolute trash as well.....

Vegas 16 is now the Vegas 8....i wonder if they try this again next year.
