Great Expectations (YOURS)...for the NCAAs

Congrats to Villanova for once again providing the measuring stick as regular season champs and Conference Tourney Finalists. What a fantastic run by The Hall through the end of the season and completing the regular season with one of the better Conference Championship games of any conference in a while. The teams and fans made this a phenomenal event........

We have five worthy contenders that will find out their seeds and opponents today. As a fledgling conference trying to prove that it is and will continue to be a powerhouse, worthy of standing toe to toe with any other power conference in the country, this is our time to shine. We've proven our worth in EVERY way except one.

My hopes and expectations for this tournament are:

2-3 teams advancing to the second week

1-2 teams advancing to the Elite 8

1 team advancing to the Final Four

Obviously I want my Muskies to win the whole f---ing thing. But you can be damn sure, in regards to our conference mates, I will be sweating bloody bullets, nervously cackling and growling like a hyena in heat, aimlessly pacing the house, possibly experiencing virtually unnoticeable convulsions from time to time, picking fights with random yard equipment(because its their fault somehow why one of OUR teams is losing), having an occasional minor stroke to keep me focused, and essentially living and dying with each team in this tournament.

Let's f---ing do this!

My expectations are for 4 to make the 2nd round, 2 the Sweet Sixteen, and 1 the Elite Eight. My hopes are MUCH higher.

We need one in the final four. Xavier, looking at you. If Nova can get to the E 8 that would be outstanding. Hall can make a run... Sweet 16. And one other Sweet 16 from either Butler or my Friars. Completely biased me- Friars in the final four. We need this conference to step up in a big way. We just had an outstanding Tournament as a conference, now need to show what this league is all about. After playing all you guys 2 (or 3) times I'm ready for some new teams that don't know each other quite as well!
