I think it really depends on how the committee is....

last years committee, no way are they in....
I think a more traditional committee, Temple probably in. Conference regular season champion. 5 top 50 wins.

Lunardi said he leans towards yes.

Also in a normal year no way.

What would hurt more for UCONN/Temple a loss tonight or a possible loss to Tulane tomorrow?

I think either way they would be in..... I think the bigger wins mean more than the bad losses... Also Tulane has to beat Memphis(which is going to be no easy feat if Memphis plays like they did yesterday).

yeah saw Lunardi has Xavier and Nova both as 2's now. The only thing I disagree with him is I don't think they would put Nova in East as that would be a huge disadvantage against the 1 seed, and I don't think they do that any more....

He's got-
Butler 9 MW in Des Moines
Xavier 2 MW in St Louis
Providence 8 E in Raleigh
Seton Hall 6 E in Brooklyn- playing FF team btw
Villanova 2 E in Brooklyn

take this with a grain of salt- but Palm 30 minutes after the Nova game said they were still a 1 seed. That may change based on the thrashing that Oregon gave Utah tonight.

I don't like Seton Hall would want WVU the 3 seed if they're the 6. Xavier's press killed SHU down the stretch a WVU one all game could be a nightmare for them

Yeah great point. And typically speaking, a pressing major team- think VCU- blows the doors off of lower seeded teams in the tourney... So little/no chance of a 3/14 upset there.... Also would be brutal trying to prepare for 3 teams instead of the 2.

the paths can be huge....
right now- from ESPN
Butler- St Joe's, then Kansas- in Des Moines
Xavier- Green Bay, then Dayton/Pitt- in St Louis
Providence- Oregon St, then UNC- in Raleigh
Seton Hall- Temple/Monmouth, then West VA- in Brooklyn
Villanova- UNC Asheville, then Notre Dame/St Bonnie's- in Brooklyn

man of all the possible 7's, Notre Dame would be the one I would least want to see in Nova's path. The other 7's are Dayton, Wisconsin, and Colorado.

Even though Xavier beat Dayton by 30 on a neutral floor when UD was playing some of their best ball, to keep my health good please keep UD and Cincinnati away from Xavier... I would be nervous all week
