Actually Willard now 2-1 vs Mack this year.

Mack's done a great job this year, but to act like it's this huge travesty that Willard would get it over him is a joke. Willard has done a good job this year. I mean did anyone think that Seton Hall would be playing tonight for the BE title? Also I think the coaches based it a lot on conference play. A lot of Xavier's resume is OOC based. So I don't think it's outrageous that Mack could be NCOY but not BECOY.

Xavier 27-5 after going 23-14 last year +4 wins overall. 14-4 after 9-9 in conference last year +5 wins
Seton Hall 24-8 after going 16-15 last year +8 wins overall. 12-6 after 6-12 in conference last year +6 wins

It's pretty easy to see why the Big East coaches would vote Seton Hall... Very easy. They knew how bad Seton Hall was late last year and the turnaround that the Pirates have done.
