For the posters who say that you are happy to be in the BE, you have no idea how good it is to have Creighton, X and butler in with us now. I admit I was very worried about loosing Lville, Uconn and Cuse , but does anyone here really miss those teams/coaches or their pain in the butt fans. The 3 new BE teams have the same fan support that those other schools have at home, but with something those other schools never brought..class.

My dislike for Big East players in order of intensity:

1) Geoffrey Groselle
2) Everyone else

I won't miss him next season.

He is really a good kid. I think he is a little awkward out there and that contributes to what happens. He does flop however, so I'm not trying to defend that. He gave up his scholarship this year so Creighton could get another player. (he is in graduate school)

I get it. I feel the same way about Arch, JP, Dunham and guys who exaggerate contact. That said, Groselle is the nicest kid you'll ever meet. He gave up his scholarship so CU could add Albert late in the recruiting process. And his wife is like 6'5' so hopefully they are fertile and produce plenty of future D1 centers.
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

Likewise, as we DO NOT miss Wichiturd fans.

I can believe it. But on the court, he's not just the guy who flops. A lot of players do it on every team, and that's not a big deal to me. He's the guy who flops and then goes and claps almost in the opponent's face afterwards. And then somehow doesn't earn a technical for taunting.

Congrats to Seton Hall on the W. Congrats to all the QF winners.
Represent well in the NCAAs.

As for us - lets go NIT'g and win it. #69/70 is light years better than last season.
Go Jays.

I hope you guys do get going to the NIT. It's going to be extremely close one way or the other.

I thought McDermott did a nice coaching job this year. Jays played with heart and fire. Just need a little more talent but looks like thats on the way.

You guys can absolutely win the NIT. I honestly think the Jays have an NCAA Tournament quality team, but the league unfortunately didn't do enough (mainly schedule well enough) out of conference to make room for a 6th at large bid. Go get it!
