Gonzaga beat St Mary's last night for the WCC title.
St Mary's still has an RPI of #36.
If the WCC gets 2 bids, which team's bubble has become thinner? Pitt, Syracuse, Tulsa, UConn?

St Mary's if they get in would be historic. they have 18 sub 200 wins. No team with more than 14 has ever made the tourney before.

They also have 26 wins, and 5 less losses than UConn. I recall you moving the goalposts on several occasions when you stated that simple wins and losses were important too. What happened to that?

You seem to be able to pull random stats out of your... Has there ever been a team that is Top 40 in both RPI and KP that ever missed the tourney?

I only knew to look this up because I was a student there at the time, but Missouri State was 21 in RPI and 39 in KP in 2006 and was left out. But that omission is the widely-known gold standard of snubs by which all other snubs are measured.

I know besides Missouri St 2006:
San Diego St 2009- 34/36....
Air Force 2007 28/30

Syracuse loses to Pitt. RPI down to 64. Looks like the 2 losses to Georgetown and St John's may very well keep them out of the tourney.... Shucks darn it.

BC went 0-18 in the ACC, then lost last night to FSU.

Postgame:
"...So, when [Boston College] senior center Dennis Clifford was asked what will be his best memory from playing college ball, recent history was possibly clouding his recollection. In response, he stammered, lowered his head for a few seconds before raising it again, eyes red with tears, and said: "Going out to eat." He then shook his head and lowered it again..."

Texas Tech loses to TCU....

TT will still get in, but what it's going to do for the BE is probably put for sure PC, SH, and Butler quite frankly ahead of them......

I know there's a lot of anger directed at BC because of the OBE, but I have to admit that is heartbreaking.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

For the current players I feel a slight twinge of pity. For the BC Administrators and Alums they will always be:

A collective sad sack who got what they deserved. Let's hope we are saying the same about Pitt and Syracuse in 5-10 years.
