You talking about me?
Nova- think if they make the final they'll be a 1 seed.
Xavier- if they win the tourney, they'll be a 1 seed. lose in the final a 2 seed. lose before the final, a 3 seed.
Seton Hall- if they win the tourney, 4 seed. lose in the final 5 seed. lose in sf, 6 seed. lose 1st rd 7 or 8 seed.
PC- if they win the tourney, 5 or 6 seed. lose in final 6 seed. lose in sf 8 seed. lose 1st rd- 10 seed.
Butler- if they win the tourney, 7 seed. lose in final 8 seed. lose in sf 9-10 seed. lose 1st rd- 11 seed- quite possibly in Dayton
Creighton- if they win tourney- 10-11 seed
Marquette- if they win tourney- 10-11 seed
Georgetown- if they win tourney- 14-15 seed
DePaul/St Johns- if they win tourney- the world is over.

Any loss for Xavier other than St. John's will get them a 2 Seed. If you think of the teams fighting for a 2 seed most will lose and Xavier has the upper hand on them.

I think Butler would probably be a 6 seed were they to win it all. I think they may be a 7 or 8 seed right now.

I don't think Xavier is the top 2 seed right now. A loss before the final would be to Seton Hall(a decent loss), Creighton(would be viewed as a pretty bad loss), Marquette(would be viewed as a pretty bad loss). I just think the other 2's around would pass them up, and at least 1 of the 3's would as well.
Like I could see if Xavier loses before the final....
1's being Kansas, Nova, Virginia, Mich St
2's being Oregon, Oklahoma/WVU winner, UNC, Oklahoma/WVU loser if it's Oklahoma
With Xavier being the top 3 seed. It would be really close between them and Oklahoma I think. Remember, Oklahoma in the QF of Big 12 tourney adds Iowa St. Oregon can win the P12 tourney. UNC gets to the final- tough to see them not getting at least a 2.
