Seniors Week Salutes

I'll start with the X seniors - James Farr and Remy Abell

Farr- 4 yr. guy. Worked his butt off in Mack's system. Hardly played the first couple yrs. as he thought he was a 3 pt. shooter. Mack and Pegues got him back under the basket and the rest is history. Maybe one of best rebounders we have ever seen @ X and quite a surprise.

Abell - IU transfer - defensive specialist. Another great team player who always seem to step it up when needed. Always on best offensive guard.

Good Luck to these guys in whatever they choose when the BB stops going up. We will always be grateful for your time @ X.

Farr has come a long way since his Freshman year. He scored 14 pts his first game that year against a TERRIBLE Fairleigh Dickinson team then only scored 2 pts the rest of that year. Hardly played on Xavier's worse team in a long time. What a year he has made for himself I would've never expected this out of him. Glad to see how far he's come.

We just have the one, Mache. He was a walk-on but I believe he is on scholarship now since we had extra, could be wrong about that. He has been a great support person and energy guy. He will be missed.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

PC honored Dunn (redshirt junior) who will obviously be leaving for the NBA and also Junior Lomomba (redshirt junior) who Cooley confirmed will be back next year. So the only player (fingers crossed no transfers) we will be losing is Dunn. Thinking that Bentil will be back next year and declare after one more year in school. He could really improve his draft stock with a strong year next year having two great years in a row. He was an unknown to NBA scouts at the beginning of the year.
