2013-14 schedules

The home for Big East hoops

In addition to what is posted for Providence, I believe they are negotiating a home and home with NC State, beginning at NC State next season. They will play at Kentucky and Boston College in 2015, and host Rhode Island. They also with be playing in a tournament at Mohegan Sun in 2015.

As I stated in another thread, I believe it is important for the Big East schools to schedule aggressively in the non-conference portion, and it looks like several schools are doing that.

Butler hosts Princeton, Vanderbilt and Northwestern. They play Purdue at Conseco. Butler is in the Old Spiece Classic in Orlando (Memphis, Purdue, Oklahoma State, St Joseph's, LSU, Washington State and Siena). They also have road games at Ball State and Evansville. Probably will look to add some buy games.

For those others mentioned (Kentucky, BC, URI) is that the 2014-15 season or 2015-16 season?

Providence plays BC and URI every year, alternating home courts. Next season (13-14) we play Kentucky at Barclays Center and then the year after that (14-15) at Kentucky.

You can add Ohio State and at Arizona State, plus it looks like there will be one more BCS game on the schedule.

Ohio State and Arizona State are each the first in a home and home, so for 2014-15 you probably have at Ohio State and Arizona State.

Also sounds like we'll be playing New Mexico, which I see you already have on there.

edit: ...and just keep alternating the Wisconsin game each year. That's a standard game whether there's a deal in place or not.

Thanks for all the updates. It will take me a bit to get used to all of the standard rivalry games that are in place for the other schools. I have updated the schedules and have found a few other matchups over the past week or so.

Any idea when we can expect schedules for the fall sports season?

Won't be for a bit. Soccer could come out whenever but some of the others such as field hockey and what not are short on teams, until associates are officially added there will be no schedule. July 1 is the deadline, but realistically on the behalf of fall sports you might hear in early to mid june.

Ohio St is a home and home, @Ohio St for 14-15

From the sound of it, Arizona St. is just a possible double up next year.

New Mexico might be a neutral in Vegas.
