Dayton is no lock. Their KP rating right now is #55 and dropping rapidly. RPI has dropped down to #24. Remember last year they ended up RPI #32 and KP #40, and they were the LAST team in. This seems like a similar type situation.....

They weren't really the last team in. They were dropped in order to make the bracket work, but the committee made it up to them by giving them home games. They'll never admit to it though.

They WERE the last team in. If UConn had won last year, they would have been out of the tourney.

This year their KP is already 15 spots WORSE than last year.

UConn went down to Houston today, and is now on shaky ground with a road game coming up vs SMU. Kelvin Sampson is doing at Houston, what we hope to see Mullin do at St. John's, taking a 1980s power that had tumbled, and making them relevant again.

Sampson is a cheat, wouldnt be surprised if they get busted in a couple years.

UConn isn't on shaky ground. They were like a 8 or 9 seed and lost to a team in the top 100. It would be better than PC losing to Creighton for example. UConn is still in really good shape.

bubble teams are lucky that Houston had a putrid OOC schedule.

Sampson has been great for Xavier. When he was at Oklahoma he made Drew Lavender mad and he transferred to Xavier(Starting Point Guard 07 08 HUGE part of elite 8) then when he got busted at Indiana Jordan Crawford transferred to Xavier(20+ pts per game 2010) and Tu Holloway decommited and came to Xavier.

Sampson handed Scottie Reynolds to Nova too. Love the guy.

The American has almost a third of their coaches as known cheats in Brown, Haith and Sampson. Not much respect for that conference.
