Oh, ok. Did he get hurt? I thought he played in a bunch of games.

Yes got hurt in preseason but has since come back to practice. The gen consensus is that Jay W has his 8 man rotation set, so why not give DD a year to develop. Kid has crazy athleticism (for a white guy nonetheless). 40+" vertical. Expecting big things from him next year with Arch leaving and no other guards coming in.

was looking at his record. he got lucky he finished when he did. The rule is 30%. So if say Nova plays 36 games- 30% of that would be 11 games. He played in 8.

The only thing is this:
All of these must be proven with documentation. That means medical documentation to prove the injury and that it was season-ending and participation information to show that the student-athlete did not play in too many contests.

So if he's back practicing like you said- it could be very possible that the NCAA won't consider it a season ending injury.

Who knows what/how the NCAA will rule?? They can be fickle and talk out both sides of their mouth on any particular issue.

Documentation would be the easy part, it's a fact he's only played 8 games. All a Dr. has to say is injury was slow to heal/didn't response like we felt needed to return. Better off being cautious for the welfare of the student athlete not to return too soon, why risk it, yada, yada, yada.

3 of the top 10 assist guys this year are seniors. Add to that Dunn and could be looking at replacing 4 of the top 10 assist guys.
3 of the top 10 steal guys this year are seniors. Plus Dunn makes it 4 of the top 10.
5 of the top 14 block shots guys are seniors. Add Ellensen could make it 6 of top 14.
4 of the top 10 minutes guys are Seniors. Add Dunn and Ellensen maybe could make it 6 of the top 10 guys.
