Nova can clinch a top 2 seed for the BET with a win.

Think the most important game is the Xavier/Georgetown game- win for X would really help them in their quest for a 1 seed..... Butler/Nova big too- for Butler it probably would seal their tourney bid with a win..... Kind of outside the normal thinking- a huge game for Marquette- a loss and don't think they would have much chance to finish in the top 100.

Tough spot for Butler. The last time Nova lost at the Pavilion, Brad Stevens was Butler's coach and Saturday is Senior Day for Arch and Ochefu.

Ok, I'll bite. Why is a three seed important? As a three seed you'll play either Providence, Butler or Seton Hall. Take your pick. Seeds 3, 4 5 or 6 are all inner changeable in my book. Is wearing home whites important?

I think it would be important for Creighton in that if they can go 3-1 rest of the way to get up to 11 conference wins and 20 overall, finishing 3rd would give them the best bet to make the BET final- and presumably the NCAA tourney at that point. If they finished 4th, they would have to face Nova- whereas 3rd, they'd get Xavier(a team that they already beat).

I like Xavier's chances in this one a little bit more than KenPom. Georgetown played their best game of the season the first time against Xavier and it was still close at the end. I don't know how much Georgetown has left to play for either until the Big East tourney.

The last game versus Georgetown led Xavier to drop from 8 to 15 in Kenpom, and they haven't been in the top 10 since. Maybe they could use the return game to correct that.
