Should be fun - both teams need this one. A loss basically knocks Butler out of contention for a tournament berth, barring a miracle at Villanova or running the table in the last 3 games, getting the 6 seed and doing some damage in the Big East tourney. They aren't beating Xavier or Nova this season. A loss doesn't knock Creighton out, IMO, but certainly puts them on much more precarious footing going forward.

We will see if Creighton can match the intensity that I am certain Butler will bring. I suspect Jones will be out for some redemption after the game in Omaha. Going to have to keep him out of the paint, and keep Butler off the offensive glass to have a chance in this one. Hoping CU can at least make a game of it, but I think Butler is going to really be getting after it tonight.

Butler will need to be on their A-game tonight. Given the performance in their last outing, the outcome of this game for the Dogs is grim. Jays are playing well and very well defensively of late. Jays win by 7.
