Early look at Midweek Games- 2/16-17

Postby stever20 » Sun Feb 14, 2016 11:38 am

Tue:
7pm #40/81 Creighton 8-5 17-9 @ #47/64 Butler 6-7 17-8- KP But 78-74 64%

Wed:
7pm #1/3 Villanova 22-3 @ #86/58 Temple 15-8- KP Nova 67-60 77%
7pm #59/40 Providence 7-6 19-7 @ #16/6 Xavier 10-3 22-3- KP X 78-68 82%
8pm #165/150 DePaul 2-10 8-16 @ #245/204 St John's 0-13 7-19- KP DeP 72-71 51%
9pm #36/51 Seton Hall 7-5 17-7 @ #60/80 Georgetown 7-6 14-12- KP Geo 73-71 57%

Tuesday's game pretty close to an elimination game with the remaining schedules....

Wednesday night with some interesting games. Chance for Seton Hall to pretty much clinch bid. Big one for PC I think to start to get their KP rating back. Nova/Temple a good OOC test for Nova.

But who knew that DePaul would be a favorite over St John's on the road.

James Farr looked much more mobile vs Butler. Has me feeling better about the Providence game. Farr getting past that leg injury is important for X.

Creighton vs Butler is going to be a great game. Then X vs Providence as probably the second best game of the week.

Agreed. I have to wonder how many people don't visit or post because of him. I don't understand how he spends so much time posting and ruining this board. I understand even less how the mods let him run this board, but honestly the board kind of sucks because of him.

Carry on.

Holtzman looked pretty pissed off after the X game. Bulldogs by 10.

Yep. What goes around comes around. Even though it wasn't our fault you couldn't hit the broad side of an Omaha barn that's prolly the reason you jacked the Bulldogs, thereby instigating our trip to Hinkle on Tuesday to face a caged dog frothing at the mouth. Thanks!

Temple really helps Nova see how a 15/16 seed skill level team plays. Thanks AAC. Will prepare Nova for their first of many games in the tournement

It kills me that this is an elimination game for Creighton. How could they screw up their out of conference schedule so much?
