It would be sweet if Ellenson/Dunn are top-5 picks. I have really enjoyed watching Henry play. It's too bad we will most likely only get one season from him.

I've seen people say the Big East is overrated, and use an example of Marquette beating Providence. To me, the fact that a team with the No. 4 pick in the draft is the 3rd-worst team in the Big East says something positive about the league.

+1

If I might add something else positive. The fact that the fans and mods here let Stever--that "special" neighbor boy--stay in our house and not turn him over to authorities.

That's class.

updated Mock Draft from ESPN:
Ellenson #5
Dunn #8

Dunn seems like he may lose out a bit in the fact that a lot of the top 7 teams are already set at point guard.

It's ESPN insider....

I know saw another one on CBS that had Dunn dropped to 8 as well. You look at the top 8 teams, and several are set at point guard.

if philly misses out on simmons, they will have to give dunn a serious consideration at either 2 or 3. Minny is also ready to turn the page on ricky rubio. Phoenix needs a pg. and more emphasis is put on pg every time curry makes headlines.

even your links-
Dunn 5th in both of those to Minnesota. That's probably close to his limit.

You know Philly has 3 or 4 1st round picks(and will be looking to trade up at least once probably twice) right? Dunn or Murray will be the first point guard off the board and the other will be shortly afterwards. No way Dunn slips too far, are you taking a shot at Dunn? Because when all is said and done(unintentional pun) he's a top half of lottery pick.

I feel bad for Marquette.

St. John's fans went through a similar situation a few years ago. A sure fire first round pick, but he never gets you to a tournament because the one year he's on campus happens to be a rebuilding year. That happened with Moe Harkless, it sucks cause the next few years after Moe we always felt we were one good post player away from being a great team. Hopefully Marquette has much success after Ellenson anyway
