How many wide open 3s can we miss?

Creighton playing solid d but we looked like absolute garbage.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Xudash wrote:Completely agree with the bolded statement. I would be pulling my hair out about him if I were on the opposing side. And Xavier had the very last possession of the game and held it until the clock expired, for what that's worth.

But here's my primary reason for responding, keeping in mind that I'm a XAVIER fan and that I love the Cintas Center: that was a BIG TIME environment in there today. Hinkle looked fabulous on television and the crowd was insane. Both our programs were invited to this conference because of what was brought today - - forget the final score for a moment.

Butler has had to fight its way from a transition from the Horizon to the A10 to the Big East. That is no easy road to travel. And you're absolutely right to note that Brad's timing was brutal. But I have to believe Butler will be just fine in the long run.

We'll see if they'll be okay in time, and I'm not worried about Xavier dunking at the end of the game whether it's the last possession or not. If you're Holtmann you can't worry about what the other team does. Butler's had some nice atmospheres in Hinkle prior to today as well. The problem is they don't win them, and these are normally the games they invite all the big-time recruits to.

You guys have a great team this year, and best of luck the rest of the way.

Marquette isn't very good but Creighton looks even worse. This will be a tough loss to swallow.

Milliken with a clutch 3. Our offense was trash but we found a way to win a close one!

Huge win by the Jays. Win their next three and they are on the right side of the bubble most likely

The future on display tonight for St Johns. Freshmen Malik Ellison and sophomore Alibeliovc both look very promising.
