saw Lunardi tweeted tonight after the game that the loss tonight drops Xavier to the 3 line- #9 seed overall. Creighton deep bubble as he called it.

Fox's Stewart Mandel updated bracket:
Xavier 2 MW
Nova 1 E
Seton Hall 11 W FF
Providence 6 S

Butler 2nd team out

this was before last night's games.

Agree with Loon...I think Xavier has earned their way down to a 3-seed. They need to get on track with their defense or they will continue to drop games where their offense is shaky.

According to rpiforecast, if CU were to win the next four and then split the last two, we'd be 21-10 with an rpi of 60. However if we got hot like that we'd have a top 40 Sagarin and a top 30 Kenpom in all likelihood.

Even with that we would still likely need a BET win. Maybe.

It's fun to dream though.

People are still sleeping in seton hall. The hall will be closer to a 7 seed than a 12 seed.

A lot with Seton Hall is going to be determined here in the next 3 weeks.... Butler, @ Georgetown, @ St John's, PC, X, @ Butler. Going to need to win one of the road games @ Georgetown or @ Butler to really move up a lot. Right now 9-6 vs RPI top 200 isn't great.
