This Butler train is derailing pretty quickly. I'm hoping they could bounce back somehow

Season summed up on ButlerHoops.com "Think we will get to host an NIT game?"

Butler seriously in trouble now. Butler did well OOC, but probably need to at least get to 9-9 in conference and here they sit at 3-6. They need to go 6-3 in the second half of the BE season and they still have @ Nova, vs Xavier, Georgetown x2, Seton Hall x2.

The thread on the butlerhoops forum is pretty entertaining. Full blown message board melt down.

Understandable that the board would be melting down with all the games that we have lost this year that were winnable. MU has one of their most complete games of the year and we still have a chance and can't put the ball in the hoop and close the gap. Hate it, but we're just not getting the bounces when we need them and missing shots when they have to go in.

We're not out yet, but it's going to be a rough uphill battle! Congrats MU, now please play like that the rest of the way! (Because beating Butler is not going to count as a quality win unless we turn this around real fast!)

Butler played well in an extremely hostile environment. This game could easily have gone the other way. Great game guys.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

After a slow start, Xavier dismantling DePaul. All is right in the world.

Huge games this evening.

....Our bids are evaporating right in front of us... Fck. We need the middle of the pack to step the fck UP! No one should be losing to Marquette, St. Johns, and DePaul a this point because the truth is that unless Marquette wins the rest of the way it wont be seen as an acceptable loss... They are way outside of the bubble.

Marquette has size and talent....To lump them in with DePaul & St Johns is ludicrous.
