Whew! Great effort SHU. A road win in the BE against a quality opponent. I'll take it.

ugh, what a game. Hats off to Nova on surviving- they had the best 3 point shooting day of their lives and needed every one of them. SHU had plenty of chances to steal it, but shot themselves in the foot too many times. Whitehead in particular killed them by frequently trying to do too much and taking some terrible shot selections.

Last 2 games for Villanova shows you how tough this league is. Georgetown played great on Saturday and Seton Hall was very, very tough tonight. Villanova is very lucky to have won tonight. Come tournament time the Big East should get 5 in because we certainly have AT LEAST 5 teams that should be there.

Great game tonight Pirates. Another tournament team as far as I'm concerned.

ALSO, props to your fans for coming out tonight. Great atmosphere, student section looked fantastic as well.

It's just such a frustrating loss, to see SHU play so well for 39 minutes and then throw it all away with a piss poor last minute. The Hall really does have a lot to be proud of. When Villanova's threes are falling like they were today, most opponents are gonna end up getting curb stomped, but SHU hung with them and had every opportunity to win. Unfortunately, moral victories mean nothing to the committee and the Hall may well regret blowing this opportunity on selection Sunday.
