easily in the tournament. Hoyas will make the tournament. The season is far from over. 5-2 only have to go 6-5 the rest of the way which is easily doable especially since we have 6 home games left. Plenty of opportunities for quality wins to erase the 2 bad losses. Basically only -1 at this point in terms of tournament resume.

If we go 6-6 the rest of the way(to include the UConn game)- we'll be in. 18-13 with a good SOS(like top 20). That's easily in.

Wait, what? How is that possible that our RPI stays at 3.

because your RPI was so high before. even now still .0033 ahead of UNC which is quite the cushion.

Both Xavier and Georgetown shoot 44% on the year from the field.

Tonight, Georgetown shoots 51% and Xavier shoots 35% (X's worst shooting performance of the year).

Wouldn't be such a frustrating loss if GTown could have played like this in the OOC portion. Their best 2 games of the year have been the last 2 vs Nova and X

Hoyas also jumped 20 spots in the kenpom ranks from 65 up to 45.

Just saw in Ken Pom Georgetown now projected at 18-13. Which would be good enough to make the tourney. Starting to think that 6 bids is possible- though a lot of work left for that.

Just please keep it going from here. No let ups. We've mostly agreed that it is better for the BE to have Georgetown in the conversation. I thought Georgetown was going to be a top performer this year at the beginning of the year. JTIII has to learn that every contest must be taken seriously and he most make sure he gets that through the heads of his players.

p.s. keep it going from here, until we get revenge in D.C.

p.s.s. you have to love college basketball. Kid comes into the game averaging 3.5 points per game and he goes off for 17 in the first half.
