The point is that open letters to other fan bases are hilarious.

Agree! Tell me again where Creighton finished last season. Like I thought. It's patronizing (and dumb, IMO) as one other poster mentioned.

Go get a life, as it seems you live on this board. Other Villanova fans have even railed on you. 'Nuff said.

It oh, the red rooster has spoken!! Nobody post what he doesn't like to read or what he does it approve of!!

What a joke!

I have a life. I guarantee the view from the beach I was sitting on In hawaii while posting earlier today was nicer than your view of a fire escape and brick wall in queens.

I never understand those posters who criticize others for posting in the board. Red rooster has a hundred posts in two years in this board. If this board were a bunch of red roosters it would have no action. I will take a poster like Omaha guy over red rooster any day. Heck, give me stever over red rooster any day.

Can Creighton fans at least wait until their team beats a top Big East team without Doug before they patronize DePaul and SJU fans?

Are you telling Omahaguy he needed to wait until Saturday night to post his letter?

You have an opinion, as well as I. Capiche'? If I consider it half-baked rhetoric, then I personally have the right to comment. One word, in which I do agree with you: joke. Yes, you are a joke. At least, you've said something here that makes sense.

I have a life. I guarantee the view from the beach I was sitting on In hawaii while posting earlier today was nicer than your view of a fire escape and brick wall in queens.

Delusional. By the way, I don't reside in Queens. Thanks for playing, though.

"No action." Haha! I'm sure you can relate. You can have stever all day and twice on Sundays. You've stung my feelings with that quote. Again, get a life.

Did you move to Staten Island? Or maybe Nassau county? Congrats.

Omahaguy,

Thanks for your letter. I understood exactly what you were trying to convey. It was nice to read your letter after reading some of the nasty comments on the Villanova thread. Especially when people have to take shots at the University that I graduated from and put me on a career path that has been rewarding in every way. Really sad to see people stooping to that level.

As far as this year goes, it's been challenging but, to be honest, I find watching SJU games to be so much less stressful than last year. Last year, we had all of this talent but (for many reasons) we had some incredibly frustrating losses and uneven play overall. This year, I get really excited when I see one of our freshmen make a great play because I know that this year is a chance for them to learn and grow. I have always been an optimist when it comes to SJU hoops but, for once, I feel like my optimism may not be misplaced.

And I see he is ranked as high as 9 in some services. But he has some pretty high end suitors, are the johnnies a realistic option for him or is it a cheick diallo move where he keeps the hometown team in the picture to keep his recruiting drama on more people's minds during his sr yr?

Ball, right now Alkins is an NC State lean.

I don't like the fact we backed off him because if you can get a kid like that you take him, but after we got Paschall rumor is Jay decided to take a step back from that recruitment of Alkins because with players like Bridges and Jenkins also returning next year, he didn't want to create a logjam.
