Yep, no happy hour or drink specials of any kind in both Mass and RI (along with Vermont and Maine). Mass was the first state in the country to ban them in 1984. Our version of happy hour is a dollar off mozzarella sticks from 4-7pm. Anyway, I need get out of New England more.

My guess is atleast 16,500 or more. Hard to say, NPOY candidate and dollar beer night but also on a Tuesday.....

Sometimes (all the time) I hate living in a state where happy hours and drink specials are illegal. You could get a full house at the TD Garden for a Creighton vs. Butler men's club volleyball game on a Tuesday if it was dollar beer night.

Yikes, that sucks. There are at least 3 bars I know of in Milwaukee that offer $1 domestic taps for happy hour, generally either 3 or 4 until 9 p.m.
A guy can get pretty blitzed for $20 including pretty generous tips. That's not even to mention $1 shots for college students on certain nights 9-close, $10 all you can drink domestic taps other nights, really tons of specials. Throw in a few wins over a bartender at bar dice and you can get pretty drunk on the cheap. I guess I wound up in the right city.

$1 beer night is pretty awesome. I wish they would start giving the beer away at DePaul games then I would finally have motivation to go.

Not to complain, but the dollar beer promo (once a year) is for an hour before tip off- then it's back to the $7 or $8 a beer. Drink fast! Should be a fun atmosphere. I love watching Dunn play best all around player in the country- just hope to not see too much of it tonight!

Truth is, Creighton doesn't have many promos or give aways. No free t-shirt night's or bobble head night's other than one for Doug McDermott 2 years ago. We get one dollar beer night (a bit of a misnomer since the buck beers are only available for an hour pregame, not during the game) a year.

I will say this - I love how you guys love the promotion. In the MVC days, the other schools botched about and called us a bunch of drunks. Screw rhwm, they were just jealous since most of them didn't even sell beer in their arenas.
