Is he "Big East" on the Boneryard trying to make sense with those boneheads? Good luck-they live in their own little world. Nothing exists for them outside of CT.

Having Providence behind Arizona is still ridiculous to me given Providence beat them in what was essentially a home game for Arizona.

Gary Parrish agrees with you in his latest instalment of Poll Attacks: http://www.cbssports.com/collegebasketb ... providence.

I use ecasadoSBU in the Stony Brook board , Bone-yard, basketballforum.com (america east), and holy land (Big East) which are my league and team of interests. Obviously I'm a big Stony Brook and Connecticut fan but most of the Uconn fans hate the fact I root for the Big East for obvious reasons...

Nonetheless, I'm not sure what triggered Nova to think I'm some guy from Dayton, OH... lol

Going back on topic I seriously believe that some of our teams should be ranked higher. We are not getting the 50/50 votes that other conferences are getting. I guess that will improve with time as voters become more aware with the quality of the Big East. Perhaps I should just be happy there are four teams in the top-18 from the B.E
Stony Brook Red, Connecticut Blue, and Big East basketball!

stat of the night...
Kansas scored 109 points tonight.
Kansas scored 108 points in 9 Big 12 football games this year

First triple OT with a 1 and 2 since 1957, when Kansas with Wilt took on NC.

I rarely watch non BE games, but last night was obviously an exception. wanted to see how good these teams were. while I'm impressed by some players and toughness both teams showed, they are not the juggernauts that Kentucky or Duke were last year.

I think top BE teams can definitely hang with either team.

I didn't watch the OU vs KU game, neither team interested me a bit. Guess its geography, I don't know a single OU or Kansas fan in Cincinnati.

oh believe me I would rather watch depaul vs st johns if it was on. Can't stand dickey V and the 'football' crowd. I watched till regulation. not worth staying up late for OT.

I watched from the end of regulation to the end of the game.

The Oklahoma kid who put up 46 points and played an exceptional game (duh (46 points kinda indicates that)) also was the player who made the egregious inbound pass that got picked off by Kansas, with that turnover eventually determining the outcome of the game.

Nonetheless, it was a war.

What was really nice to see was the post-game handshakes, etc. Truly impressive sportsmanship all the way around. Those kids knew they had just played a game that they'll remember for the rest of their lives. The Sooners haven't beaten Kansas at Phog Allen since 1993. They got damn close last night, but so it goes and it goes on from here.
