Nice to hear stories of nova fans yelling " great hit Jenkins" and " I'm happy sumner's in the hospital" just class, pure class.

Pretty sure that wouldn't happen at the pavilion. Nova fans don't want to play against depleted teams, we want good competition, like we used to get in the old big east. We want competitive games that make each other better. I can't think of a single nova fan who would be happy Xavier had a player go down.

Then again, blueblob appears to be a troll who just signed up a month ago and only has a few posts. Keep it classy, stever.

Give credit where credit is due. Nova played a helluva game. If we had to lose, at least it was to another Big East team.

You sound like a bunch of babies. Well we can suck, but if Villanova does well in the tournament it saves the whole Big East, but they keeping letting us down. AGAIN, NONE.....NONE of your teams have done ANYTHING to pound your chests about in the tournament since the formation of the new Big East so ZIP IT.

Villanova will CONTINUE to be just fine. If you saw the list of recruits Jay Wright had at the game today you would know we are in phenomenal shape and we will CONTINUE to be the King of the Conference. I know now I am pounding my chest, but some of you need to give it a rest.

Well first of all, Nova is shooting 31% from 3 this year.... today they shot 52%..... but that performance "isn't a surprise at all" to you?

Secondly, why are you concerned about Xavier "showing up for league play"? They showed up enough to get a 6 seed, and then carry on to the Sweet 16.

I am glad Nova shows up for league play.... wish they would do it in March when it actually matters. 2 seed and goes down in the first weekend of the tournament. Not good for Nova and certainly not good for Big East.

You can say 0-6 all you want. I don't really care that much about Xavier-Villanova games during regular season. Since Nova has been to the Sweet 16 last, Xavier has 4 Sweet 16's. I've rooted for Nova the past 2 years.... hopefully this is the year they can actual do something in March and do their part to legitimize the Big East.

No, not in the least, and it shouldn't be to you either. We have shown many times over the years that we can shoot that way, were we really hot? Yes. Just like we were really cold against Oklahoma. I've rooted for X for the last couple of years ... I'm glad you guys beat Georgia State to get to the S16 so you can puff your chests out about beating a 1 bid league team, ... would be nice of you to show up and deliver during league play though. Remind me again how many F4's X has again?

My bad also, things can get heated during BE play. I respect the hell out of Xavier, just sometimes in the heat of the moment things get said. It's only been a couple of years, but I can already feel a real rivalry building with X. Here's to Edmond Sumner and a very quick recovery, hopefully it's just a mild mild concussion after a scary ass fall. I expect Xavier to be guns blazing on 2/24 at Cintas.

Again, I am sorry to see Sumner go down like that, but only people even HINTING that it was dirty are Xavier fans. Ochefu didn't even TOUCH him and now his name is being thrown into the mix. The amount of whining and shots taken at Jay Wright, Villanova, and Villanova players are noted.
