the Nolan site seems to be messed up- in the league standings it's fine, but the RPI and the conference OOC record aren't updated. From RPI forecast the leagues records entering today- 76-23. Warren Nolan has the league record being 76-22- so not even including last night's loss by St John's. Should now be 79-27.

Im sure most of the other power conferences have cupcakes to end the non-conference schedule as well. Fact is, like it or not (probably not), the Big East has solidified themselves within the top 3 of the rpi again....

I'm okay with that as long as it means a lot of wins. The Big East already has the second highest win percentage but I'd still like to see it closer to 80%. It's important given that we play so many conference games and the makeup of the RPI formula.

not really though.

The Big 12 and SEC still have a challenge end of January. And some of the other conferences have some strong OOC left...

And would say even this- going into today, the projected end of season RPI was 4 (and end of season OOC RPI was 5- not sure how that can happen).

The conference also has a few Jan games that are dogs.

Good job by Providence taking care of business without Dunn.

I think given that we're 80-27, and there's only 18 left (the list I gave- plus Nova/Temple, Georgetown/UConn, Marquette/Stetson in Jan)- that would be a max of 98-27, or .784.

Realistically final winning percentage will be close to last year's 94-31. But with a weaker SOS.

This thread would be so much more fun if Georgetown hadn't shit the bed again.
