Cut Uthoff in a crazy way (though I think it's BS that Uthoff went to a school within the conference). Barely graduated any of his players. Terrible sport after losing, blamed refs after the Duke game last year, blamed refs after the Kentucky game two years ago, and multiple other times. Also a ton of rumors floating around about infidelity right now. Class act is not a way to describe Bo Ryan.
Yeah, I agree. Terrible graduation rate and won't let kids transfer. Seems like he is a good X's and O's coach, but not a great guy.

Not only that, but despite Bo receiving accolades for all his purported NCAA Tournament success, a closer look reveals that Wisconsin wasn't as great as they were cracked up to be.
Bo Ryan's Badgers beat teams seeded higher than UW only twice in 14 years (2009 beat #5 Florida State as a 12 seed, 2014 beat #1 Arizona as a 2 seed). Just to read that again, it took Bo Ryan EIGHT YEARS to beat a team in the Tournament seeded higher than the Badgers were, and he only did it again once after that.
The Rodent acolytes will say that because Bo Ryan's Badgers were always such a high seed, there weren't that many teams higher than them. However, when the Badgers faced teams that were actually good, they frequently fell short. Against NCAA Tournament teams seeded 1 through 4, Bo Ryan went 4-7 in his career. Three of those wins came last season, and all four took place in the last two seasons.
Rather than a Slayer of Giants, Bo Ryan's NCAA "successes" were bolstered by beating teams no one would even remotely consider contenders, joined with a practically Faustian series of lucky bracket breaks via upsets.
In 2003, Wisconsin reached the Sweet 16 by beating a 12 seed and a 13 seed.
In 2005, Wisconsin reached the Elite 8 by beating an 11, 14, and 10 seed.
In 2008, Wisconsin reached the Sweet 16 by beating a 14 seed and an 11 seed.
Conversely, despite obtaining these high seeds, Bo Ryan's NCAA Tournament career is littered with defeats to double-digit seeded teams.
2008: Lost to 10th-seeded Davidson
2010: Beat 13th-seeded Wofford by only 4, then lost to 12th seeded Cornell by EIGHTEEN.
2013: Lost to 12th-seeded Mississippi
Ryan also lost to a 7th seed, and an 8th seed twice.
