I think Purdue is one of those teams that is being seriously underrated because some moronic voters still rank them in the teens. They are really, really good. It would be a huge win for Butler but it's going to be really tough.

I made the mistake of venturing over to shockernet to get a favor of what they were thinking of tomorrow's match-up with Pirates. Wow ... just wow, they just maybe be worse than dayton fans. Most of them think they're going to win by 18+ @ Seton Hall. With FVV back and Conner Frankamp eligible now apparently they're a top 10, lock down D, juggernaut.

The Dunham - Davis match up will be very interesting to watch. Purdue goes 10 deep, with ten players average between 15 and 27 minutes.

Yeah, it's a strange place to visit. We might start up a series with them and while it would be good basketball, I'm dreading it because their message board fans are so full of baloney! After a visit to schockernet, your ability to think becomes muddled for a few days!

Wins by Villanova, Xavier and Butler would give us 3 Top-10 teams on Monday, and 4 Top-15 teams. Good opportunity. Nice.

Tomorrow will be Judgement Day for the Big East. A huge day for the conference and how people will perceive it from now till the of the season. If our teams show up then our conference will be considered top-notch the rest of the way... otherwise it will be ugly for us to get the respect we deserve

I hope people won't be too let down if the league goes 4-4 on Saturday. This is a hard day with 3 top ten teams on the schedule along with a healthy Wichita sate, the league will only be favored in 3 games (Xavier, PC, G-Town) so just 4-4 would mean at least one upset.

I think tomorrow is a big day but that the conference has already done much to earn respect in any case.

to me, tomorrow is huge risk huge reward.

For Villanova, Creighton, Seton Hall, and Butler- tomorrow is their toughest test of the entire OOC season. DePaul with a tough game as well. If BE goes 0-5 in those 5 games, there would be a perception hit. But then again, if the league goes 3-2, the league will get a perception bump. A big one . It is Judgement Day in a lot of ways. I wouldn't say it's between top notch or ugly. it's between elite and I'd say solid.

Also tomorrow is just huge for Seton Hall and Creighton. Wins for them REALLY help their NCAA case. And even Butler could use the win. Losses for Seton Hall and Creighton really would increase what they need in conference to make the tourney.
