G'Town I love ya, but man you guys underachieve very consistently. We cannot afford to have a program like G'Town be this bad. With the talent on the team you guys should easily be ranked without a doubt. Something's fishy in DC. I'd say JT's seat is warming up. G'Town would be a dream job for many coaches and I bet you can get a big name. The last few years G'Town just has not gotten it done. To get dominated by a MAAC school with top 15 potential? Come on man. This is not a situation where G'Town has all new coaches and players. No excuses.

Ugly loss tonight for Georgetown, but I'd calm down on the JT3 hot seat talk. Until I see real signs of players quitting on him, selfish play from the team consistently, he throws his team under the bus, or if they end the year real ugly (like no postseason at all) I won't call for his job yet. The only fanbase that has REAL reasons to call for a coaches job is Seton Hall IMHO. SHU has done gotten off to a solid start this year but they seem to always fall apart in conference play.

Yeah, Seton Hall's always good for a big upset or 2, but they're also always horribly inconsistent. I wouldn't be surprised at all if they split with both Villanova and Xavier and then get swept by DePaul again. It's what you get when you have talent but lack coaching.

When will we stop making excuses for Georgetown? They are supposed to be a flagship school and instead are a national embarrassment.

If the T stood for anything but Thompson, the seat would be red hot right now.

let's give some credit to monmouth. at this point they are looking like a legit tournament team with some impressive early wins. This wasn't just Gtown dropping the ball. we can focus on everything gtown did bad tonight but lot of it had to do with how monmouth played.

Like seriously, the guy (Willard) has been there for FIVE years and he's never taken his Pirates to a postseason, not even the NIT. Not acceptable, man. Also, back to JT3 and Georgetown, Jon Rothstein tweeted this and I really think this could be said now: "Would refrain from making impulse statements after one win or loss in CBB. Season is a journey. The great teams withstand the test of time". I'm certainly guilty of making impulse statements (Like I made about my Bluejays after losing to Loyola) but it's still good food for thought. It settles you down a bit.
