We absolutely need SJU to pull a miracle tomorrow against SU (hey, you never know!) and for Seton Hall/DePaul/SJU/Creigton to finish the OOC with .700WPC+ records. The goal should be to have a 80% winning percentage overall by New Years Eve. If they achieve that there is no way that ESPN and the rest of the media can ignore the Big East. Requiem for the Big East my ass
I would love to see 7/10 teams in the NCAAs when it's all said and done. Right now, it certainly looks like a possibility

Why do we absolutely need SJU to pull a miracle? I'm a SJU fan and I'd love to see it happen but don't see us winning. Very optimistic once Ponds and LoVett arrive but based on how SJU has played I don't expect to get more than a few wins in conference. That would be better for the rest of the conference anyways than if we got like 7-8 wins.
Truth is most people don't really care about depth and few care about how good the bottom feeders (like this year's SJU team) are. Most people care about teams in the top 10-15. Teams that can compete for a Final Four. Our biggest problem last year was nobody besides Nova looked like a Final Four contender. This year there may be 4-5 potential candidates (Nova, X, Providence, Georgetown, maybe Butler).
I know where you're getting at and hope the coaches/teams put in 100% effort but just saying as fans we're very fortunate how the season has played out.
