bump....

I was so impressed with this guy's poise last night. Coaching effort of the year as far as I'm concerned. Has a lead, but is out his 3 top scorers (on what is essentially a two man team), but keeps his kids poised and focused and instills confidence and they withstand a legitimate comeback effort by BC and then push back by breaking it open.

Cooley is an easy coach to like and root for.

By the way, I followed the BC teams in the Skinner years pretty close, and the success they had really reflects on what Cooley is doing. And those were some pretty cool teams to watch. From the Troy Bell era through the Dudley/Smith team, those teams played with a real identity and confidence. Once as Cooley left BC it went downhill for the Eagles (and who is the current chump on their sideline, looks like a disgruntled accountant or something).

BC had it's team playing with food poisoning.

I don't care about BC- Cooley is a damn good coach. IMO he may be the best coach in the league right now.

I don't care if they were playing the central rhode island school for the blind, that was a gutsy effort by Mr. Cooley.

And BC's players were over the illness. I get that they didn't get to practice, but they were going to cancel the game if they were still sick.
