So, this is to ADMIN here in public - do you believe that toxic non-sense from non-Big East fans contributes to your board? And I don't need to read from anyone that the thing to do is to just ignore them and they'll go away. We're dealing with Dayton trolls here. Besides, they make such easy targets of themselves it's hard to pass up. This hoopstar guy reminds me of Kevin Bacon in Animal House after being flattened on the walk.

Beyond Orlando, X travels extensively for NCAA Tournament games, but then, UD has only had recent and fleeting experience with that Tournament in this century.

Nice try but you might want to look at US news 2015 instead of 2014. UD ranked 106 NATIONAL Universities. Where is XU ..? does not qualify as National. Do you understand the difference between a National and Regional University.? Ask any recruiter for engineering business law tech ...I could go on..if they would prefer xu or ud and they would laugh at you

Concerning the bolded part, only the engineering and law part are actually true, because Xavier simply doesn't have those programs. Congratulations on winning a competition that never was, I suppose? By that logic, I suppose University of Cincinnati is a stronger institution than Dayton, because I can pursue my Master's of Statistics at UC but not at UD and my friends were able to get their medical degrees there but couldn't at UD.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, but the numbers pretty clearly land on stever's side. Taking the resume out of it, the guy has me beat on total posts, posts per minute, time online, number of boards visited, and average post length. Throw in the moderator experience and I'm a goner.

Jokes aside, if you need help Admin I'm more than happy to, but I won't be offended if you go another direction. I am well aware that my brand of snark, antagonism of stever, and occasional fanboy outbursts don't sit well with every poster.

I think I'm too scatterbrained to be a moderator, and I think the Admin does a great job.

Perhaps it's not as easy as it is to point it out, but taking away the Dayton trolls and putting a cap on stever20's "value-added" contributions would clean-up the problem immensely. In essence, you're dealing with posters who are petty and jealous of what we have going on collectively in the Big East.

You really don't see the true Big East fans here being petty. I don't see anyone asking about the whereabouts of the Bearcat Bounce dude to get his reaction to his coach's technical last night, or about his reaction to Butler's wonderful win in the Queen City. We just let stuff like that speak for itself.

I don't have the time to moderate, but I'll certainly look to change from responding to idiot posters, though they're easy targets. Ignoring them most of the time will be a better use of my time. Their envy and lack of perspective is their problem anyway.
