The way the last few minutes went is frustrating (especially for PC fans), but certainly a great showing this week. ......New England losing probably making it even worse for some.

Dunn has to learn to stay out of foul trouble. The 4th foul was just stupid. 4 straight games now with 4 fouls.

PC hung tough for the whole game but just didn't quite have enough in the tank to finish 'em off. Still a great game PC. Hold your heads high.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

this game is one reason why I don't totally agree with going with the advanced metrics. PC is going to get HURT by the final score of this game. MSU was supposed to win by 6. Instead they won by 13.

Great competitive game. The Friars looked good and we were in a good position to win. All in all, a great trip out west. We'll be in hoops heaven watching Kris Dunn all year.

Theoretically, those things balance out over the course of a 30+ game season.

true. but like there's no reason why PC should drop by 2 slots based off of tonights game. that's just stupid IMO.

Translation: "Let me make sure the PC fans feel even worse about this loss by throwing a final little jab in there."

Reality: PC is not HURT in the least by any game this weekend. Losing to Mich St. on a neutral floor will probably end up as a net RPI increase not decrease.

You've always come across as a Dayton fan to me, now I'm curious who your team is.

X is a legit top 15 team, by the eye test I think they're top 10. I think Dayton has been overrated by some A10 fans, don't think that beat down of Alabama was too impressive. UD still pretty good.

I root for Dayton because they are a local team to me and a lot of my family has gone to Dayton, but I wouldn't say I'm a "fan" of Dayton. I'm such a homer for local teams it is ridiculous. My "team" is Ohio State (man, are they bad this year). I joined this board when all of the conference expansion talk was taking place because to be honest, it was all fascinating to me. I still read posts on here because, for the most part, I really enjoy a lot of the conversations and I am just a college basketball junkie.

But, yes, Dayton and Xavier are both really good this year which makes the game last night even more impressive for X.

In Ken Pom, PC WAS HURT by the Michigan St game. they dropped from 46 to 48. That's insane. In advanced metrics, if you don't perform like they think you should, you get really dinged.
