I couldn't remember why, but I came into the game thinking the same (probably because at one time or another, most pundits have put X down in favor of another school and we don't let it go). But he seemed to be all over Xavier player's nuts for 90% of the game. Must've drove the 100 Michigan fans watching crazy. Seriously, it seemed like the student section got put in the side of the stadium opposite the TV cameras and the upper bowl was empty. The pregame showed how empty the place was (obviously that changes by game time, but not by thousands). I can't imagine a Xavier home game, as a ranked team, against a good opponent, with a 40% full (if that) arena. Maybe I'm wrong, but Michigan fans suck.

Based on his prior AP voting record, he's no fan of the Big East. So I agree with you.

Unfortunately, I think Butler probably has to beat Miami to stay ranked. Voters are pretty dumb, if they see you lose to an unranked team, they will drop you a decent number of spots no matter what. Miami looks really good too blowing out Utah and Mississippi State.

Well, X is RPI #1 if that means anything. Good for BE anyway.

If my math is correct, we lost by 19 because of Marquette.

Pretty sure RPI means nothing at this point.

It means nothing at this point, but I got a chuckle out of seeing Xavier #1 with the #1 SOS.

I got a chuckle of seeing a ranked B10 school go down. Go X go BE.

I'd agree advantage Big East, but because Xavier was the only real upset, and likely put themselves in the top 25 while knocking Michigan out. I also think some of the matchups were rather uneven (Nova-Nebraska advantage BE, Creighton-Indiana/Marquette-Iowa advantage B10) and somewhat favored the Big 10 to begin with.
