Agreed, I don't know the numbers but I didn't get FS2 last year and this year I get it in HD. I didn't upgrade any package either so their subscriber numbers must be higher.

I know some people don't get FS2 unless they upgrade, but I have Directv and I don't get ESPN3. But there's probably almost just as many people who don't get ESPNU or ESPNews unless they upgrade as well, so FS2 isn't the only one in that boat.

BTW I'm writing this as I'm currently watching a internet UFC 193 stream, internet streams aren't bad compared to paying 54.99 or whatever. But there is absolutely no, none, no what so ever comparison to actually watching something on TV. Streams lock-up, freeze, and buffer all the damn time even ESPN3 ones.

look at 788-791. Something called ESPN Extra. It's free- not sure how high up plan you have to get it. But I know for instance on Tuesday the Wichita/Tulsa game will be on that(should be a good game)..

I'm also a Directv customer, and ESPN3 is now available to those customers.

Good to know, just checked it out. Haven't watched anything on ESPN3 in years, for the longest time it was unavailable for directv customers. I see the quality of streams has also improved significantly, although you're probably still subject to poor announcers and a other technical concerns(sound, light, camera angles, etc.) If the only option is an internet stream I'll probably just skip it. If it's not important enough for TV, it's not important enough for me. Unless your talking pirate PPV streams, because well I'm a cheap ass mofo. I just saved 54.99(or whatever) seeing Rhonda Rousey getting her ass kicked.

It's still 144 points.

Most points against a D1 team since 1997.

Great crowd at the Dunk tonight. Harvard has a solid team, though a notch below their recent teams. Our freshmen looked comfortable on the court. Dunn provides a dozen "ooh's and aah's" a game. Nice win. Don Orsillo called the game along with Tarik Turner. Orsillo was fired by the Red Sox after 10+ years in the NESN TV booth. Good guy. For some reason, the Sox kept Jerry Remy as color guy, though he adds nothing to the telecasts and has a grating voice.

My son and I thought the Butler halftime score of 71-41 on the Dunk screen was a typo. Came home and saw The Citadel fullcourt pressing all game, leading to simple buckets.

Creighton looked strong. I only watched part of the first half so far. Nice new lineup for this year with the talented Huff and Watson. The Jays make it look easy.

DePaul showed huge focus and guts. Down 8 or 10 at the break, their defense became suffocating. Started the second half on a 21-6 run. The offense concentrated on driving the lane and limiting their own 3-point attempts, very much like SJU last night. No way would Purnell have won this game. Leitao used good clock management and good shot selection. He got pissed at freshman SG Gazi for some forced 3-point misses, and the DePaul offense corrected itself. Completely different effort and focus compared to last year.

Why is Butler playing a sub 300 RPI team anyways?

Radford finished with a 150 rpi and Belmont with a 100 rpi. So while neither is a good loss, neither is awful either. Marquette can be excused, they are a new team. Georgetown is still disappointing.

Butlers win hurt the league RPI more than the Marquette loss did. None of our schools should ever be playing schools that bad outside of a tournament where you have no choice.

Watching games on a stream is still a below average experience when compared to TV. That might change in 5 years but it's still the case today.
