I think you're projecting your (justified) frustration with St. John's onto the conference as a whole. The conference has been good. Not great. Not okay or bad. It's simply been good. With the lack of top 10 teams this year, you can't really expect too much more in late November.

Keep the pedal down, Villanova! By the way, how has Kris Jenkins looked this season? I see he hasn't done too much statistically this season, but then, he's a freshman. Xavier really wanted him, and they were in a good position in his recruitment before the Dez Wells fiasco.

Looks like Nova is in the process of putting away another solid win. Nice work.

Now, let's go Dogs!
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

What a debut for Ennis. 12 pts so far with 3 triples. Nova up 81-63 with 4 to go!

Fromm should probably stop shooting. I'm interested to see what happens to his playing time as the season progresses. It's a big thing at Butler obviously to rely on Seniors but if he continues to play the way I've seen him play the last few games I'm going to have a hard time believing that Chrabasz, as he becomes more comfortable, doesn't start to eat into his time...

Good job, Villanova, locking up the win! Hopefully Xavier leaves open the possibility of playing a non-conference game against you guys after tonight.

Butler should win this next game to pull the Big East to 2-0 so far today. "Should" being the operative word; Wash State is giving them a game.

Great way to handle business Nova. Likely match-up with #2 Kansas tomorrow.

Great job Villanova... this win has the added intangible benefit of rolling across the score ticker for the next 10 hours... free good press for the Big East all day...
