They're all guesses but I think this one will settle a lot better with our eastern Big East friends. It has Georgetown at 11, Marquette at 13, Butler at 23 and Creighton at 25.
I don't think that's a preseason prediction, I think it's last years numbers. I mean, I don't think they would have Miami as #4, do you?

I guess I just went with the date on the poll of November 2013. I just focused on the Big East Teams didn't even look at the others. Maybe it's last year before the tournament because Wichita doesn't make the list. Oh well, I just globbed onto it because It was contrarian to some of the other polls/predictions. If its not the same year, then I guess that explains why. my bad.

It's not last year, dated November 4, 2013. It certainly is a weird list. The teams don't make sense for last year and others don't make sense for this year. As far as the Big East picks are concerned, Butler at 23???
It's defniitely last year. Click on Georgetown and look at the schedule...

That's what the RPI last year looked like Yes, New Mexico was #2.
stever20 wrote:yup.
ESPN had them at #6 and Real time had them at #7. 5/9 teams in the conference had RPI worse than 150 last year.
Not sure what the difference is between the 3 of them- but Gonzaga at 8 last year was reasonable.
