Hard to put a positive spin on what's happened so far this season. Lots of bad losses and very few good wins. I think Marquette's win over Purdue is our only win against a ranked team so far. They and Xavier are the only two teams that seem to be living up to the preseason hype. Providence, Creighton, and Xavier are all small underdogs later today. It would be nice to somehow get two of those three, and get moving in the right direction again.

I don't think there are lots of bad losses. Nova has two, Hall has two and Butler has one. SJU should have beat Georgia. Is it a bad loss? No but its a quality win they should have had. What we need are more quality wins top to bottom. Everyone still has the opportunity to do so. Let see where we are in a month.

A dreadful Thanksgiving Eve for the Big East, and not only for those playing the F4. Providence as well as ranked Creighton and Xavier all lose to the F4. A couple of games left before we can mercifully close the book on November - starting tonight as Butler meets Northwestern. Need to start making noise.
