I can see a guy transferring to Gtown with multiple years of eligibility left but I can't see a guy like Dickinson taking a chance that Cooley can round out an NCAA roster as a senior.

Dickinson has 2 years of eligibility left if he wants to use them, but I agree that a guy in his position would likely prefer to go where he can expect to win right away rather than be part of a rebuilding project which might or might not have immediate success.

A couple of big pickups for the Hoyas in the portal in Jayden Epps from Illinois and Dontrez Styles from UNC

Competing immediately with Dickinson isn't all that far fetched considering Cooley had Providence competitive with only Bynum, Breed, and Croswell returning from the previous season. It'd be a massive get for Georgetown no matter how you slice it, but it looks like Maryland is still the favorite at the moment.
