73 and he hasn't coached in 3 years. Seriously...this is the best LaSalle could do right now?
According to multiple sources, Dunphy is taking the job after he himself tried to convince several others, including former assistant Matt Langel, now Colgate’s successful head coach, to take it.

Many UGA fans wanted him to "come home." I guess UGA AD thought a Florida retread was better than giving an alum his first HC job. There is so much talent in Georgia that all the D1 schools here should be competitive. I think this is great for Georgia State.

Gonna miss him on FS1/Fox.
(and now he's changed his twitter thing to say he's the head coach at San Diego).

I had a chance right out of college in early 90's to live with some cousins from our large California-branch, haha, in San Diego and Chula Vista. A branch of my Italian-American side, all of them treated me like gold, couldn't have been more generous and welcoming.
I had stayed with them several weeks already, July 1991, i had no responsibilities, free as a freakin bird, and they had a bunch of gorgeous friends to hang with... But the economy sucked in 1991 and i had a new job lined up here in Rhode Island... i replay that decision in my head only around 742 times a day. Lol.
Kids reading this... enjoy yourself when you're young, do a lot of traveling if possible, see Europe, and if possible live rent-free with cousins in San Diego, amongst their beautiful blonde friends.
Hey, a real midlife crisis playing out at the HLOH, haha.
Anyway, great decision by Lavs.
