Ackerman's gotta be overjoyed with UCONN back in this conference.

As should all the programs in the conference. Keep sending 4-5 teams to the dance and we'll get these runs more often than not.

Apparently Creighton is the first double-digit seed in the elite 8 since 2017.

On paper, Creighton has no business being on the same floor with South Carolina and an entire roster of 5 star recruits. Saw a 13 point line and was surprised it wasn’t 20+ to be honest.

An older gal saw me at church this morning wearing my Creighton gear and she asked if I was “excited for the Creighton girls tonight”. Told her “damn straight I am”.

ahem... I don't follow ANY sport other than Men's Hoops.

However, this run by the Jays is reminiscent of their 2004 run in the NIT, albeit with a lot higher stakes.
Given they are playing the consensus #1 team in the land - South Carolina and Dawn Staley -
the predictions for the run to end in the EE is understandable.

However, stranger things have happened. That's why you play the game. It's been a great run for
a relatively unknown team on the women's side of the sport. A great boost for Coach Flan and the program. #RollDamnJays

Other than their PG, all their players are taller and bigger than our tallest player. It's tough, we are clogging up the paint and they are still scoring on us.

Just a tough draw against the favorite to win the whole thing. I think y'all would have made it a game vs any of the other 1 seeds.
